We are currently looking for an ESTIMATOR – SENIOR to complete our experienced team.
You are a person…
- positive, dynamic, versatile, organized, and autonomous
- who likes teamwork
- who has a sense of initiative and priorities
- with an ability to manage emergencies and meet deadlines
You have…
- more than 5 years of experience in similar functions
- knowledge of the Design-build system and MS Office suite (Outlook-Word-Excel)
- good oral and written communication skills in French and English
Here is what your day could look like…
- prepare work to be estimated by collecting proposals, specifications, plans and tender documents
- propose, analyze and suggest alternatives to what is specified on the drawings
- identify and review general and special conditions of projects
- calculate costs by analyzing labor and material requirements
- obtain bids from suppliers
- conduct quantity and material surveys
- prepare formal bid
- present the estimate to the Chief Estimator and/or Project Manager
- attend site visits when required

It has been an incredible journey over the past 16 years, I am very happy that my first work experience here in Canada has been so long with Perfection Electric.
I started with Perfection Électrique as an apprentice in 2001 after my course, I was an apprentice/electrician for a few years to gain experience. Then I wanted more challenge and responsibility so I was offered the position of foreman, I did that for 14 years. Today I am a project estimator within the team for a few years. A journey that has gone by quickly and that continues to be enriching and stimulating.
I like working at Perfection Electric because of its values! When I leave my house in the morning to go to work, I head to my second “home”, and this since August 2010.
I have been working for Perfection Electric since the end of 1999, I started as an electrician and a few years later, I became a foreman. Respect for employees, teamwork and trust are the order of the day at Perfection. My many years of service have been constructive and rewarding.
